Camel on the Tree of Life

This is a Bactrian camel.   Bactrians are found in Asia and there are only a few hundred left.   Lack of water is their main problem.   Camels are domesticatable and dromedarys, necessary to desert nomads, are in healthy supply. Bactrians, unfortunately, don't seem to be getting the attention they deserve.   For more info on camels, visit Planet Camel.
