According to the info on Germany' pavilion (you can pick up at Innoventions East), the designers chose not to make precise replicas of actual German buildings. These last three photos are of three sides of the same building and show how architectural imagineering can give you the impression of there being a lot in a small place. This side of the building is inside the pavilion.
Glas Und Porzellan is a fascinating shop inside and out. Inside is a most mesmerizing array of glass and porcelain pieces which I call art.
